Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, is a suburban town with a population of about 55,000. Woodbridge Township was first settled in 1710 and had been growing ever since. Woodbridge's history starts with the Lenni-Lenape tribe, the original inhabitants of this area before European settlement. Woodbridge Township is a very quiet town with little traffic. It has an active community with many events throughout the year, both for adults and children. Woodbridge offers plenty of family-friendly activities as well as great schools to raise kids in. The township is home to Woodbridge High School, where more than 20 sports teams are available, including football, soccer, field hockey, swimming/diving, among others.
