While earning his Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Miami, FL, Dr. Dunn worked as a Student Athletic Trainer with the Women’s Soccer and Men’s Football teams. He then completed his medical school and residency training which ultimately led to a Fellowship through Atlantic Health System in Sports and Spine with Dr. Gerard Malanga. Upon graduation he joined the doctors at New Jersey Sports Medicine and New Jersey Regenerative Institute in outpatient clinical medicine focusing on sports and musculoskeletal injuries, and developing expertise in regenerative medicine procedures. Dr. Dunn subsequently joined the team at Madison Medical and Sports Rehabilitation, a multispecialty practice in a highly collaborative environment. In January 2019, Dr Dunn partnered with Dr. Danielle Damelio to form the Functional Performance Institute.
His clinical interests include regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, sports medicine, and disorders related to the spine. He authored several journal articles, book chapters and presented at national conferences. Dr. Dunn has served as team physician for local high school teams. He was also certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. He takes pride in treating patients of all ages and abilities.
